These little books all follow the pattern set by the VHC and its creator, the late Eric Carle, combining the simple text with selected illustrations from across the vast gallery of Carle’s work. One assumes that additional material created in the same style is also added.
This one will make a perfect little gift from a grandchild to a granny, just in time for our Mother’s Day in May. Alternatively, someone with a new baby (and luckily I have one of those in my circle) will delight in presenting it to a new grandmother. And even though The Kid is turning 19 now, this page is still exactly right for us
❤️. It was also, quite aptly timed, Hungry Caterpillar Day this week -above, a few memories from us.
