Those who are of a certain vintage will remember the olden days when we had intermission in movies. A little pause for everyone to get themselves sorted with refreshment and a pee break – and of course, initially to change the reel.
This is one of those but without the snack bar (you can find your own goodies, I’m sure!). After a very full-on few weeks on the blog, and personally, and especially the chockablock NAIDOC week special, this week I’m taking some time out to finish off some commissions for publishers and authors (yayyy!! $$$), and on the weekend The Kid and I will head up to the Sunny Coast for (hopefully) some surf for her, but also to mark her Mum’s birthday. Jen would have been 44 on 22nd. Regular transmission will resume next week with a special post and then the reviews will roll out again. I’ve been reading some great books and can’t wait to share them with you.
