As mentioned previously [probably more than once because that seems to be a thing at my age!] I’ve been a fan of Mo’s work from the start. While my favourite is still Nanette’s Baguette, really they are all fabulous. You have only to remind yourself of Mo’s many accolades to realise this.

This darling little offering (title almost longer than the book itself!) is the perfect gift for a MW fan – possibly more us grown-up fans than the small ones but there will be many who will get a chuckle, and probably a guffaw, from the Pigeon’s witty epithets.

Philosophical musings, various quotes – or misquotes as the case may be, speculations and profundities are all part of the Pigeony canon here – Pigeon-isms to quote the publisher. It’s a lovely compact gift book with a special introduction from the Bus Driver.

Each double spread features another striking piece of wisdom facing a carefully chosen visual interpretation of its intent. Honestly, it’s just a splendidly colourful hard-backed manifestation of pure joy. Why not make a gift of it to a Pigeon-fancier of your acquaintance? I know I have just the right recipient in mind for this copy.

If you’ve never visited Mo’s workshop [really? unbelievable!], why not take a stroll through the many offerings there and visit not just the Pigeon but all Mo’s other wonderful creations (easy to see how he honed his skills in Sesame Street actually) because it is a fun feast for all ages. And how could I possibly resist any bird expressing this sentiment? Thank you, Pigeon (and Mo)! Mind you, a little pandering of the right kind………..never mind, I digress.

Highly recommended for anyone of any age really with a hmmmmmm 🤔, which emoji? oh of course!…. 5 🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌 rating. What a great Xmas stocking stuffer this makes!
