  1. This looks powerful and beautiful, Sue. The sentiments and research were also behind the conception and creation of THIS IS MY DAD, after being promoted by a TL that not all kids have a father and the reasons can be varied and far reaching, albeit it not specifically focusing on the cause of the absence. Rather how divergent thinking could offer solutions and inclusion. I like how this is specific to the topic matter. Cheers Dimity

  2. K would say ‘I don’t have a father’ because until Jen died, and K was turning 10 and came to live with me – her father had nothing to do with her. It’s a tricky situation for many kids. I guess now that she wants nothing to do with her father, that’s a tidy bit of karma but I’m sure it’s still hard for her to let people know (and she rarely does outright) that her mother has died.
