Here’s a completely fun one to share with your Smalls, especially those who love Scary Night.

Once upon a snowy day, three friends set out on a journey.

Hare with a honey pot, Cat with a candy cane, Pig with a plum pudding.

But where were they going that snowy day, out in the cold so far away?

It was a mystery!

Yes, the three friends are off again on a mysterious trek with terrible dangers. They narrowly escape a troll while crossing the Chasm Bridge, which swayed and wobbled horribly. A very hungry wolf chases them – and they have to run lickety-split to save themselves.

Through the snow, over the ice, deep into the woods, up and down hills – but where could they possibly be going with their honey pot, candy cane and plum pudding? Some of your bright buttons will no doubt be able to guess.

It’s a lot of fun and I can well imagine the inevitable squeals at the dangers from your audience. I have no doubt it will be a hit with the Preppies I intend to share it with this week. Your Smalls from as young as 3 will love this and it will easily entertain older kiddos up to around year 3.

Needless to say, not only is the text from Lesley Gibbes so entertaining, but Stephen Michael King’s illustrations are, as always, fantastically expressive! It’s a big 5 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 rating for this one.
