Earlier this year I reviewed the 10th anniversary edition of This is a Ball and just as that one and many other Stanton bursts of hysterical humour have entertained kids (and adults) over the past decade, so too will this one.
Kids LOVE proving you wrong. And they especially love the ridiculousness of these books and will chortle with gusto as they screeech NOOOOOOOOOOOO! It’s NOT a X ……..it’s a Y! at you – on repeat!
You can all see the Elf on the front cover so you get some idea of how this plays out. These are exactly the type of books of which Smalls never tire and, frankly, it will be a good one to keep them entertained in your own countdown to Xmas and the arrival of the Fat Man. Simple but sleighloads of fun for kids from around 2/3 to 6 or 7. It’s a 4 🎅🎅🎅🎅rating for this one.
