Pitched as a ‘thank you’ to Mums, it has so much to which kids will connect and laugh over. My favourite, hands down, is the pants-down of the ‘what if you let me wee alone…’ page, which will have your kiddos rolling with laughter.

The illustrations are cracker!! I’m loving the vibrancy of them, and the endpapers that are pseudo-corkboard with all those bits of ephemera and tiny love notes we all keep and appreciate so much.

As a matter of fact, one that The Kid wrote for me, not long after we had lost her mum and well before she had tamed her language deficit, popped up in my FB memories just yesterday – yep, making me teary all over again.

So don’t delay on this one because whether you are buying it for someone else or going to use it with in your own classroom or library, it’s going to be a surefire winner. I’m giving it a 4 🌸🌸🌸🌸 rating.
