The cutie-pie Tinysaurs are back for their second adventure and this one gets even cuter than the first. Much like Redcliffe for the past month, the Tinysaurs are quite fed up with the endless rain and are very happy to see a magnificent rainbow arching overheard. Surely that means sunshine is on its way?
While they are all excitedly looking up they see something fall from the rainbow. What on earth could it be? When they scurry off and find the mystery object, they see it is a gorgeous rainbow egg and decide they need to show Professaur but ouch! when Handy tries to pick it up – no way! it is SO hot!
While Handy cools his hands in the nearby puddle, Spiny nudges the egg with his foot while they all debate what to do next. That’s decided for them when the egg rocks from side to side, then cracks and out pops a tiny rainbow dragon!
It appears that the egg has accidentally fallen and cheeky little Chilli wants his Mama Iris – where can she be? It’s up to the Tinysaurs, with the gentle wisdom of The Invisible Cat of course, to help this little lost dragon reunite with his mama.
It’s another really sweet story with a terrific subtle message about helping others – no matter if they are different to ourselves. Empathy and kindness are something in short supply in many arenas these days and it is important for us to help our Smalls grow up knowing the right way to behave towards others. It’s another 4 ๐๐๐๐ for your newly independent readers from around 5/6 years old.
